Does your community have new Board or Council members? Are you trying to plan for the future of your utility? Have a lot of new staff? Or maybe you want to know about upcoming regulatory changes. This class is meant to introduce Board and Council members to the challenges faced by rural water and wastewater utilities. We want to help decision-makers learn how to work with operators, how to comply with regulations, and how to engage in succession planning for long-term sustainability.
Anyone involved in the operation and management of public utilities may attend. Clerks, Council Members, Mayors, Superintendent, new employees, Administrators, and operators are all welcome!
