Classroom Training & Events

Idaho Rural Water Association offers training classes for drinking water and wastewater utility operations specialists as well as for other related industry professionals such as utility boards members, elected officials, clerks, and managers.  Unless otherwise specified all classes have been approved or are pending approval for drinking water or wastewater CEUs (Continuing Education Units) by the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL) - formerly IBOL.

Filtration & Facility Tour

July 20, 2022 - Jerome

Event date: 7/20/2022 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Export event

This six-hour class covers conventional and membrane filtration including bag filtration and reverse osmosis. The training will also discuss operations and maintenance of conventional filters and membranes filters and troubleshooting. Part of the training involves a tour of the City of Jerome's Wastewater Facility that features a Kubota Flat Panel Sheet Membrane Plant rated at 3 million gallons/day (MGD).
