IRWA's 2021 Spring Conference is now being held on May 25-27 in Boise. 

Some classes for 2021 have been rescheduled; please use the information on the website and not the printed calendar.

Idaho Rural Water Association offers training classes for drinking water and wastewater utility operations specialists as well as for other related industry professionals such as utility boards members, elected officials, clerks, and managers.  Unless otherwise specified all classes have been approved or are pending approval for drinking water or wastewater CEUs (Continuing Education Units) by the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL) - formerly IBOL.

Join Bryan Elford with Kennedy/M & H Valve to learn hands-on repair and troubleshooting of some of your most important distribution components. Bryan will have equipment in the classroom for students to learn with. He will cover different types of hydrants and valves, common problems encountered, routine maintenance and care, and operational tips! You won’t want to miss this class. Learn from a subject-matter expert how to increase the longevity of these critical components.


Please note: This class is approved for 0.6 Distribution credits that are appropriate for Very Small Water System Operators.
