Very Small Wastewater Treatment
Course description: This 6-hour class is part of the Idaho Rural Water Apprenticeship Program with an open invitation for others operating a Very Small Wastewater System or needing CEUs to attend. This course covers the following:
• Wastewater treatment systems including lagoons, land application with soil absorption
• Operation and maintenance and standard operating procedures
• Overview of wastewater plants.
NOTE: A very small operation specialist will be completing all the Idaho educational requirements for licensure by taking both the Very Small Wastewater Treatment class and the Very Small Wastewater Collection class. (Does not include the work experience requirements as per IDAPA rules).

Manual: The California Rural Water Association sells the "Intro to Small Wastewater - Student Manual" for $66.00. The manual is not required, but it would be useful for the class and your system.
