Classroom Training & Events

Idaho Rural Water Association offers training classes for drinking water and wastewater utility operations specialists as well as for other related industry professionals such as utility boards members, elected officials, clerks, and managers.  Unless otherwise specified all classes have been approved or are pending approval for drinking water or wastewater CEUs (Continuing Education Units) by the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL) - formerly IBOL.

Sanitary Survey

February 22 & 24 - AM - Online

This Sanitary Survey course will be offered the mornings of February 22nd and February 24th. You must attend both classes to earn CEUs.

This drinking water course is recommended for operators, regulators, council members or board presidents, and public works supervisors or managers. This course is focused on helping you prepare for that upcoming sanitary survey or respond to significant deficiencies from a past sanitary survey. Topics include the key elements of the sanitary survey, how to prepare, which records to have on hand, response procedures, common mistakes, and where to find helpful resources for preparing or responding.
